Tate goes Reserve Winners Dog at the 2016 Havanese Nationals in Orlando, Florida for a 3 point major completing his AKC Championship.
Tate earned points every time he stepped in the ring! He was shown exclusively by Kacie Davis of WesAnns Handling LLC.
Tate is Kelley and Owen's first havanese. He was originally placed on limited registration but received so much attention at dog shows that they decided to show him.
He is also an agility dog with Owen as his handler.
He is so much like his father, Tater, in both looks and temperament... Tate's an outstanding specimen of the breed. He's one of the most upbeat dogs I've ever met.
I am anxiously waiting to see if he passes on his temperament and looks to his offspring. It shouldn't be too long now.
Tate's first time in the ring (with competition) was with Kacie Davis is in Concord, NC at the havanese regional specialty where he won Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major.
Tate loves agility and has returned to it since completing his AKC Championship in conformation. You can almost see the smile on his face.
